The Bugs Bunny Rap

Recently, a friend suggested I write a book about all the jobs I’ve had! Well, this story would probably be chapter number one. The story I share in the video is about my very first job in LA. I was 22 years old,  a recent grad of NYU, and fresh off the boat from Brooklyn.

How I went about paying my first rent was unique, to say the least. It started with me looking for a bartending job. It evolved into living off free food at a happy hour buffet. And it ended with me entering, of all things, a rap contest. If you never heard of my song, The Bugs Bunny Rap, you’re about to.

Since I was 22 when this story happened, I’m sharing my first headshots taken in 1988 to set the mood. You’ll also hear audio of me while I still had my Brooklyn accent. Enjoy!
